i just purchased my first point and shoot digi camera. the jury is still out on that thing, but i’m doing a little experiment in 2008, carrying it around in my golden pak.

These are all great — what model point and shoot do you have? My last pocket camera purchase was a bad decision (mostly due to the poor image quality in reasonable ambient light) — but I’ve since discovered many strange features (fake depth of field, color “lens filters”, and a lomo-like multishot composition mode) that make me like it a little better.

Canon IXY 910 IS … that’s the Japanese name. in my country they say “Canon IXUS 860 IS.”
